Pinus pinea IDed by the long needles in a 2-needle fasicle, very distinctive bark, & researching what trees are in Central Park lol.

? – The Times article says Central Park has Swiss Stone Pine and does not mention Italian Stone Pines… but this specimen seems more like the latter.

Carya ovata IDed w/ Wostling by the pubescent terminal buds that are kind of short and very distinctive gray flaking bark.

So the dates are all messed up! Yay….
